Anyone give anything special immediately after calving such as pails of warm water with or without some sort of fresh cow mix?? YMCP is one additive I've heard of. Any others you've found helpful in preventing metabolic issues? Been having trouble with ketosis and LDA's in fresh heifers. Warm water at calving would require minimal effort, not sure why I don't already do this...
