nc ks | Cool. I am so looking forwards to the days it happens here finally. We haven't had water run into the grader ditches for 2 years and we were dry the 2 years before that. We have cleaned out all of our drainage ditches the last several years and haven't seen them work.
I can't imagine the devastation of the vast flooding that gets infrastructure and damages land. We have a creek that used to get over a mile wide every or every other year and totally take our crops on a couple 1/4 sections, but the water is slow and doesn't cause much permanent damage. The river used to get a little beside it but clean up a few logs and go again. Not diminishing what the guys up there are dealing with, but I'd sure like to see a few roads topped with water around here sometime. | |
