Subject: Krone and Kuhn Rake

Looking at used Krone 42t and Kuhn 4100TH rakes. Krone is a 2015 runs smooth and quiet with no vibrations. Everything is tight and is in great shape except the carriage has been welded in 2 places. I've attached a picture and circled where welds are (not actual rake). No other damage. The Kuhn is a 2003 appears in good shape and runs good. No welds. Some slop where the rake arms slide onto the shaft of the cam (slop is up and down). None or minimal slop of the cams themselves. Slop mainly on the arms where the roll pins have been replaced with bolt and nut. Can get the Krone for $5000 and the Kuhn for $3500. If the Krone had no welds, its a no brainer. Welds make me a little concerned. Opinions of the two rakes taken the condition they're in?
