Can’t comment on a 680, but I run an airfoil chaffer in a 9770. I like it.
I use it in wheat, soybeans, grain sorghum, and low yielding dry corn. It did seem to limit capacity in corn if the moisture got above 18% or so. I run the sieve toward the open side of the range for the crop, and the fan toward the high end of the range.
