ECWI | I do work closely with a dairy nutritionist and we've been working through the ration part of this problem. On paper my rations look good so we're making small tweaks, some of which seem to slowly improve things. Nutritionist is the one that mentioned giving water with 'fresh cow salts' at calving as another of her clients does this and swears by it. That's mostly what I was curious about. Also I'm in tiestall barn so pen space/ bunk space is not an issue. | |
