I would think that keeping an app going would be hard and expensive. Letting someone else keep the app up to date is ok. As many time as android updates it OS, the apps have to follow or be kicked out of the ecosystem.
My experience with something like that is I have moved and had to get a new doctor. yes on and on. Good doctor especially from the last one that took over the practice from the one my wife had for years and years after our doctor passed on.
The new doctor's people put the app on my phone signed in name, password everything. I have big fingers. Could not get the password correct. I said if they have an app, they have a web portal. Yep they did. Took a lot of digging but got it. The website finally let me in. That is how I interact with the doctor now.
Whole long story is to say maybe look for a web portal or ask the e plant.
Yes apps collect all this information but I am old enough does it really matter in the whole scheme of things. LOL. Just don't fall for spam and swindlers. | |
