If only we could find a way to reduce the demand for drugs, it would go a long ways towards solving a lot of problems not only in the US but elsewhere. Wife and I used to travel a lot in Mexico many years ago. Every year for probably ten years in a row. Mostly southern Mexico in the Yucatan but all over some. Always found the people friendly but we avoided the bigger cities like the plague. Didn't care much for them.
