Kansas | We have a chest in our basement that we bought used 56 years ago when we got married and I think it was at least 30 years old when we bought it. The lid was rusted on the outside and my wife painted it white and made it look like a new one. It still freezes hard as a rock. Not sure how long it will go but we haven't done a thing to it in all of those years except defrost it when we are getting a new beef. | |
