| Not an electrician, just asking out of curiosity. If they were for a "heater switch" wouldn't they have to be connected for the motor to run? I've only been around 1 ph motors UT when the motor overheats the "heater" pops open shutting off the motor. To restart you have to push the heater button in to complete the circuit. On occasion We've had the heater go bad, if the electrician doesn't have one on hand he has removed the switch and wired the wires directly together to get us going while he goes to town to get a new heater switch., | |
