It’s not always about how much rain. It’s the timing of the rain. We can go several months in a row with little to no rain and then get a couple inches a week for a month or two. That might be a slight exaggeration but it sure seems that way. Sometimes we are a dry area, sometimes we are really wet. Not much middle ground, usually one extreme or the other
