Subject: pickup tire wear

Moingona Iowa
My grandson has a 2008 ford sportrac pu. He puts quite a few miles on it.
He has it serviced as should. He had a flat on right rear and the inside of
tire was warn to the steel belting rest of tire looked good.
Upon checking rest of tires the left rear was warn the same very good tread
but the inside was warn to the steel belting. Front tires same age are just fine.
New tires were installed and truck parked until 4 wheel alinement is done this coming
week.
Tire shop could not find any problems with rear end of truck. It had new hanger bearing
and I believe axel bearings in rear wheels about 20,000 miles ago. Truck has 204,000
miles. He has not been in ditch or pulled out of anything he says. Tire pressure as it should be. Any idea what could cause this? Thanks
