I guess if you’ve got a bunch of paid for acres and like sand said, want to let the coop do half the work (and pay for the privilege) then yes I could see how that lifestyle is feasible. But even the guys I know who don’t have much of their own but will probably inherit some day, they can’t live like that yet.
