Northwest Illinois | Left on vacation June 18th getting back last night. Rode Amtrak from Chicago to Princton Il, then drove home north from there. I saw a lot of good looking corn and bean fields yesterday. Son told me while we were gone, our farms received 4-5 inches of rain spread out over several rain events. All of that soaked in as we don't have any tile lines running.Our corn looks very good and beans look even better than that. We just need to avoid severe weather events now. | |
