IMO, any plant derived oil is bad. If it's a liquid at room temps, it will oxidize WAY faster than fats that are solid at room temp.

That, and anything fried in butter/gee/lard will taste better than frying it in peanut oil.


If you want to go down the rabbit hole, start researching phytosterols. Death to the cardiovascular system.
