ncia | Looks like that in north iowa and just had another heavy thunderstorm this 4th of July afternoon. 1.75 “. .my weather station shows 29” so far for ‘24. Last year in a drought we had excellent crops. This year, We planted corn in good conditions and ended up replanting blank spots twice more. That’s drowned out too. Last really dry day we were putting on treflan. Managed to get beans planted and mostly up in good conditions. Now blank spots in those and we are at far end of replanting with ponds full. I’ll put soybeans in drown outs for cover with no hope of harvesting. This year could easily be 100 bpa less on corn than last year.
