EC SoDak | No, too early to tell. The good is, the big rain stayed north of me today and after this weekend we hit a dry stretch and finally show a steady warmup and we need it here for a bit. The better corn isn’t even chest high yet and is a ways off tassel, it just gets shorter (and some yellower) from there. Corn was Planted April 22nd-25th, other than a few quarters of spring manure ground that went in on May 13.
Generally I don’t count too many chickens until I get through pollination and see what the weather and forecast looks like from there. | |
