Do they work like HVLS fans when you mount them horizontally like that?
I have never been in a barn with HVLS fans, so I can't really compare. All I know is the bedding is drier than without and the cows seem happy. I might have only needed 3 of these fans, but I had 4. They were easy to mount with a couple cables to the trusses. So far, they are working fine.
