I have Hankooks on my pickup, my dad as BFGs. The BFGs definitely wear better, but the Hankooks have better traction in mud. They seem about equal in traction on gravel, wet pavement, and snow. My next tires might be the BFGs for the longer life. Noise wise they are about equal.
