MKX has several nice minor upgrades, but nothing too significant.

-Screws in the swing away turn opposite directions of each other, so there is less grain thrown out in theory.
-Cleanout door at the bottom is hinged instead of bolted.
-Swing away to main auger is sealed up so less moisture can get in. (my experience is the plastic piece ends up cracking before long anyway)
-U joints have grease zerks on the outside of the knuckle instead of the inside that you could never get to. They end up wearing down quickly, but at least are easier to replace.

I'm sure there are other changes as well, but not coming up with them off the top of my head.
