| His yield bump from plowing isn't moving the nutrients, its just causing microbial activity to speed up for a year which makes more existing nutrients available. As for the question in a dry year, as a no tiller forever, the heavy dews and light rains allow your surface roots to take in whats needed on the surface. Just my experience. Keep plowing and I bet in 5 years his soil tests and yields will lag the no till | |
