Interesting read about China's climate. Wife and I are just back from a European vacation. In visiting with residents in Austria, they talked about how the glaciers are melting and receding. Ski areas now have to resort to artificial snow making to insure enough snow on the slopes- something they never had to do until the last 10 years or so. We stayed at a lake resort town in Switzerland. When asked, the comments were about how the lake hardly ever has any frozen areas anymore. When asked about snowfall, locals said they hardly get snow in that area now. To me, this just points out that climate is dynamic- which means it will change over time. Can man slow it down or speed it up? Maybe. Can man control it? Probably never. We just need to be ready to adapt to it.
