The AgLeader 130 amp alternator for electric drives uses 6 gpm. I think you should be fine. There is also a battery on the planter. I forgot to turn the alternator on in one field and they just ran off the battery for 40 acres no problem. Even if it does quit running when you raise or lower it will not cause the meters to stop working.
