I'm no expert on what she is doing, but from what I could gather after listening to a couple of her interviews, like with everything else it takes money to make money. You'll be paying into a life insurance policy instead of the bank. It will take several years to have enough equity to borrow against of any size. Honestly it probably works out better for the heirs than the current generation.
