A very large portion of it is, I’m sure. The more expensive the land, the nicer the equipment, and more of the equipment is paid for. That’s the way it works in the farming communities that I’m familiar with anyway.
You have that right, I have noticed the same thing. You can even see the difference within a county of that statement. This is why the "real corn belt" guys get picked on, high yield ground will always be a better ROI over the long term. |
