The dealer having the serial number obviously helps for parts..
Any work that is ever done on that tractor UNDER WARRANTY goes in the system no matter if it's had 10 owners and the owner doesn't let them know.
This is useful if buying a used tractor you can trace the history.
But the dealer will have the serial number the first time he works on it anyway | |
