Have a Hiniker air seeder, been using a J&M rolling basket to help covering any seed uncovered and smoothing off everything. It's doing a very good job but not perfect. I have thought of putting the coil tine bar on it to help move dirt around, but not sure it would be enough. What about a chain harrow, have stalk ground and also plant into bean ground that has a cover crop of cereal rye. Sometimes plant green, this year killed ahead. Seems to me a chain harrow would really smooth everything up and cover any seed . Anyone do this? How about trash flow, seems when stuff is dead it would flow fine,I really like the how the J&M smooths everything out, just need a bit more to cover any seed showing, any thoughts would be great, thanks.
