We tried it, and a friend tried it. It works until it doesn't!

My trouble was I would get a wet wad stuck in the baler, then drop the knives to clear it, and now you have a unchopped slug in a bale that may cause trouble.

We bought a vertical TMR. We still run the chopping baler because it mixes so fast, and you get more product in a bale and less oxygen.

Neighbor stayed with his horizontal mixer and has tub grinder stop by every two weeks.
