SC Kansas | So I’m a wheat farmer who grows a little corn in SC Kansas. On wheat, we learned again the hard way that fungicide pays. Same variety, planting date, rate, fert etc 2 miles apart…20 bu difference on sprayed vs not. All our sprayed fields were better. We didn’t spray everything because of what you’re saying-got dry with no rain in sight and tired of throwing more money then it started raining. So is corn the same? Pays 8 out of 10 and 2-3 of those pay for the ones that don’t pay? Like I said, I’m asking as a wheat farmer! | |
