Got to profess I know little about this program other than what I have read on here.  Buying land was always my top priority through the years rather than being debt free.  Having land payments to make keeps you disciplined in overspending on other things.  Use a line of credit to operate on and keep short term debt on equipment low or nonexistent. 

The important thing is to have a realistic business plan and the discipline to stay with it.  Hopefully the plan will result in conservative spending in good times and will give you a buffer to weather the bad times.
