Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | I would say it depends on the intended use and physical size.
My nephew built a new dryer shack last Summer. He had a small electric baseboard heater installed on a thermostat. During harvest season, the waste heat from the phase convertor, VFD drive etc. is plenty adequate.
His dryer shack is not used as a farm office or play room so the needs for Winter heat are fairly minimal. For their situation, the electric baseboard seems to be a good solution. |
