the nice thing in my little area north of dubuque, is that we have just enough clay to hold the water in dry years. and not too much that it wont drain in wet years. But I do have 5-10% of my crop land this year that has basically drowned out. It has tile, but not quite enough for years like this. But this is a one in ten year. the other nine years everything is good.
Went to SW Wisconsin this week….
