S Illinois | Call me skeptical, but I have a hard time believing C IL is in crop insurance territory already with tasseling just starting. Maybe with an add on buy-up policy and the price decline it’s getting there, but anything I can do to keep pushing APH’s higher and net out the same, I prefer the bushels over the crop insurance check. It’s only when there is no way I can achieve a yield that maintains or increases current APH would I throw in the towel.
