I am sure you probably have done something by now but as mentioned above, check the two push pull shift cables on the right side under the cab. When we run thru cotton, cotton bolls can get stuck between these shift cables and cause weird things to happen in regards to shifting. Simply clean this area and oil any cable or pivot points and see if this helps.
