Subject: RE: What kind of heater for a dryer shack?

Southern Ontario
In 1992 built a nice dryer shack/electrical room....10×14 I think
We purposely insulated it well but still thought we would probably need a small portable, maybe, 1200 watt, $30, 120 plug-in space heater.
I do not remember a harvest where we needed to plug in that heater.
We are often late November finishing up harvest but have seen a December day or two handling corn.
A couple of times, on sunny days, I used the shack to do office work in January.
The room was great to get paper work done without any additional heat from the plug-in heater.
I think the insulation combined with the heat given off by incandescent lights and the phase converter keep it warm enough.

Maybe our phase converter is giving off more heat than we think?
Or maybe we are just cool blooded Canadians?
