For me, cephalexin and cinnamon tic tacs are on my hive list.
One rather distinctive thing with antibiotic hives is the hives on the palm of the hand.
The antihistamines should work pretty fast, but there are several active types, if the benedryl isn’t doing the job other antihistamines would likely work better.
Potentially an anaphylactic reaction could cause breathing problems. I would be tempted to get a Primatene inhaler and carry it just in case at least until what is causing it is figured out. Epicenter of course is the usual way in severe cases. | |
