Rumely was located in LaPorte and made Rumely Oil Pull tractors and other Rumely equipment. Later, Allis-Chalmers bought out Rumely, and AC made the All-Crop combines in LaPorte.
I don't know if any historical sites or museums exist. Google would know. I think Oprah used to own a mansion in the LaPorte area.
Things to do/see around LaPorte, IN???
