Alicia in ‘83 laid a lot of corn over. IIRC, 60 mph winds. We harvested anything that was laid over with the rows going one way. The stuff across the rows went both ways but it was a slow go. Grass is going to explode on us, let’s hope it dries out and doesn’t keep raining for 2 weeks. Doesn’t take much crop grass to make it impossible to slide the snouts on the ground. If it keeps raining, I’ll be spraying ASAP to keep the grass as short as possible.
