we have called them "ponderosa" burgers for as long as i can remember. i have know idea why thats the name.
we dont do it every time we make burgers. but it changes things up some. our sausage has a little zing to it also.
anyone that weve fed them to has never complained.
my fav way to have one is almost like a BLT without the toasted bread. just a regular hamburger bun.
one of my kids just likes it fried up and sprinkles a little cheese on it and almost eats it like a steak. no knife needed tho.
