Subject: RE: A fish a day keeps the grim reaper away

Southwestern Minnesota
I actually do like fish..... except not fish like sardines, anchovies, canned tuna. Living in MN doesn't give us a lot of opportunity for good seafood, and what is in the meat counter doesn't look that appealing. I do try to eat salmon twice a week. I usually buy the wild caught and not farmed. I also like MN fish- especially walleye, northern and bass. But those aren't the fatty fishes for the omegas, but I'm not getting toxic levels of mercury, selenium, etc either. So, it's salmon twice a week; MN fish when I can. And for the rest of the omegas I use a flax seed/chia seed blend at breakfast. Tonight it was sirloin steak on the grill. Beef, chicken, pork, fish- its all good.
