It doesn't need a hurricane to move as plain jane winds do just fine.  Pro-active is much better than reactive when it comes to SR.  

You must've never dealt with it if you are asking questions.  1 crop year saved will pay for a decade plus of fungicide. 

There are some years here we see it but weather conditions don't allow it to flourish but cripes why take the chance.
