Hail ins I like to have a full and 10% deductible policy. Example: $100/acre full. $100/ acre 10% deductible = $200/ acre payout if totaled. Scout field before adjuster shows. Seems the full pays the premium most years as we usually get a small hail storm . Full premium on corn in my area runs around $3 per 100. Take one major hail storm in 33 years to get premium money back. Each to their own on wind/ greensnap. Greensnap is below the ear. 5% deductible. Heavy pop fields more so. Seems the stock has less strength.
