Today's lower profile headers and poly snouts will be a little better than back in 1983. They have their limits...........but are certainly better at picking down corn. Auto steer would help a bunch too.


Two things to remember, lots of our corn is in beds, tip of snout has to be down a bit making them steeper angled. Second, we are mostly wide row, that angle is steeper as well.
