South Texas | I have driven a few that could get a little over 20mpg. Most recently was a 2019 F350 that would get 21 on the highway, while another identical truck from the same order would get 12mpg on the same trip. Ford said normal...
I recently took my F450 on a vacation trip, surprised to see 15.5mpg, guess it likes getting off the farm sometimes.
Seems mileage is worse on the 2023+.
One thing interesting, given that an engine is an engine and there shouldn't be much difference in efficiency. Pulling a fifth wheel on the interstate with the newer 6.7s runs 7-8mpg. Way back in the day my 98 dodge surely didn't get up to speed as quickly, but same size fifth wheel on same interstate it would get 12-13mpg. Towing mileage didn't take such a dive. Same thing with the old powerstrokes, never saw under 12mpg, even when empty they were running 14-17.
