This is the kind of year that really messes us over. Wet where most of the corn is grown and dry on us, so we take it on price and yield. It happens enough on us, but it seems like North Carolina deals with drought every year.


We get a good basis locally (80-120 over), but we don’t have the soil like the Midwest. Plus we don’t have the acreage or topography in each field either like the Midwest.
