Great Plains | Was roaming around Polk/Seward Counties (NE of Lincoln) today. Some folks have been applying WM fungicides. I found sclerotia (rat turds) but no apothicia (effing little mushrooms). Why apply white mold fungicides before the mushrooms are shooting out spores? Seems to me that spores & blooms are needed for WM infection? Are some cos. just grabbing input $ rather than optimize timing for growers? | |
