I believe so. It also depends upon which weeds you're combatting. Palmer amaranth? Johnsongrass? Kochia? Waterhemp? Redroot Pigweed? It's not going to be great on any of those.

Weather also makes a big difference in residual efficacy. Truthfully, there are many better options for pre emerge and post emerge residual products.
