I'd kill for a 10% increase.
I agree and the fact that it’s only 10% is not lost on me. I like to think it’s because I’ve got a good agent that is in it for the long haul. I also buy all of my HVAC policies through him, he’s a neighbor and I went to college with his brother among other reasons I feel it’s fair.
I just can’t decide whether to stick with the same company and higher deductible or jump ship. Only “savings” would be if I had to pay a deductible. I’m in construction, I am close friends with many roofers and not that I’d ever ask for a “deal” I know I’d be treated fair when the time comes. Heck, one of the largest shingle distributors in town is a customer of mine and they’ve more than once told me they’d give me materials at a great price. Having said all that I just naturally lean toward staying put and putting an additional $4k in savings for if a roof claim is ever needed.
Thanks for y’all’s replies. |
