I was told by one agronomist that the difference between 60,000 and 140,000 wouldn't pay for the seed.
I was told I had one field of 39,000 by a crop scout giving a free trial. I thought there was more than that on most of it but I am sure some spots were that low.
That field made 60, which I was told is a record for that farm.
This year the same agronomist that recommended leaving 60,000 told me to replant the second week of June if I had less than 90,000.
Same filed but a different variety,.
