Nw Iowa | July 1 here still can get 30 bushel if everything works just right, July 10 pretty sketchy. Those 10 days are pretty big for yield. These are earliest beans .2 I have ever planted so we will see. Normally a 1. Up till very end of June. Farming is just one big experiment. Most of what replanted was on bean acres so will get some replant coverage on ones done earlier. Replanted into some corn acres if a bigger hole we can combine. Tractor hrs are cheap on 4440, drill only gets out of shed every few years and my time ( kids will agree) isn’t worth much. Would have been a lot better if we could have got in last week of June. Has kept me out of their hair for last 10 days. | |
