Wisconsin | That's not what I was expecting you to mean by that, I thought corn looked terrible when I left near Jim's on July 3, the only decent corn I saw was one part of one field north of Wausau on the way N, and that 20a is not going to lower the price. The other part of the same field looked very patchy and yellow. Coming back I saw fine corn for June 11th on some soils, and getting home it looked a lot better than it did on the 3rd. It could still do fine with consistent rain and enough time, or it could get ugly, there won't be any failure in this area or Jim's, but it could be ugly.
Remember, $4.24 is $2 something in pre covid dollars. | |
